Annelise is a pediatric physical therapist with 36 years of experience who is passionate about guiding children in attaining their highest level of function. She is equipped with advanced handling and clinical reasoning skills, gained in a variety of settings, including Early Intervention, preschool, school, outpatient clinics, residential care and acute care.
Annelise received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Dominican College in 2014, and her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of the Orange Free State, Republic of South Africa, in 1987. She has advanced training in pediatric Neuro-developmental Treatment as well as Halliwick Aquatic Therapy. Annelise is also a Certified Clinical Instructor by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Annelise has served on the Board of Directors of the NDTA, and has organized and assisted in certification courses. She enjoys mentoring physical therapy students as well as less experienced peers, and is passionate about assisting clinicians grow in skill, knowledge and confidence.
